What is the best age for starting the True Learning Curriculum?
True Learning was designed to be appropriate for children aged 3 to 6 years old. Within that range, any age child will find True Learning challenging and beneficial.
If my child is older or more advanced, will True Learning be appropriate?
Each True Learning subject consists of 4 levels of advancement. Each level systematically builds upon the skills presented in the previous levels. The content is created to ensure success and mastery. Every concept is introduced in an intuitive manner, then reinforced and built upon in successive levels. True Learning has been designed to allow your child to control the pace of learning. True Learning is just as effective whether your child moves quickly through the exercises or spends more time mastering each skill or concept. Regardless of your child’s age and ability, True Learning will challenge and stimulate your child at each level.
My child attends preschool. Will the True Learning Curriculum be of value?
True Learning goes beyond most preschool curriculum. It allows your child to explore skills and concepts that may not be introduced in most preschools. For most children, True Learning is a perfect enrichment supplement to a quality preschool experience.
Can my child use the True Learning Curriculum without my supervision?
At the heart of True Learning is the time you and your child spend together, sharing the experience and joy of learning provided by True Learning. It’s so important, we even gave this time its own name: True Moments. These True Moments with your child will help instill the value and love of learning early on. But we understand that there may be times when you may not be able to be there. At those times, we suggest another caring person spend the time with your child. Perhaps it is the babysitter, the nanny, the grandparent, older sibling or a family friend.
Can I purchase one particular subject, rather than the entire system?
No. True Learning is an integrated curriculum. Each subject is designed to reinforce what is being mastered in the other subjects. Young children also learn best through multi-faceted exposure. One of our priorities is to make certain that True Learning is an enjoyable experience for your child. It is not meant to be tedious or difficult. Our multiple-subject curriculum is designed so that your child is engaged by the variety of activities. This would not be possible if only one subject was introduced to your child.
How does the True Learning Curriculum handle my child’s individual learning needs?
We know that each child has unique learning requirements. True Learning has been designed from ground up to take this into account. With the entire curriculum conveniently available on the two-disk CD-ROM, you have the flexibility to choose the exercises most developmentally appropriate for your child at any given time. With 24 modules containing over 3,000 exercises, you can customize your child’s learning experience. Additionally on My True Learning, you’ll find additional supplemental exercises and activities to further customize the learning to your child’s needs.
